All in one Xserver package

The X Window System, TCP/IP, NFS, FTP, TFTP and Telnet software (WinaXe Plus also includes the SSH-client) are built and provided in this xserver package. All that you need to run remote UNIX and X Applications is included within WinaXe. You operate simultaneously with X11, FTP and Telnet sessions and with your familiar MS Windows applications. That same efficient WinaXe xserver package provides all the network protocols and utilities you need along with support for international keyboards, a wide range of fonts, printing services, etc. In brief - if you have the hardware we have the software. Alternately, you can use your existing protocols and solutions including the current TCP/IP stack and any familiar host based X fonts via WinaXe's X font Server. The keyboard configuration is also easy to alter to your needs.

Easy to Install Xserver

To get started, you execute an easy installation procedure by answering a few questions. After that WinaXe installs all the xserver software and protocols you need to get going. WinaXe does not need fancy hardware, your existing standard 32-bit PC is enough. Any networked Windows PC can become a WinaXe xserver terminal in minutes.


Easy to Use Xserver

Starting work with WinaXe is easy. You can choose from six different starting methods XDM, RSH, REXEC, RLOGIN, SSH and Telnet - to initiate your remote logic session in host. You can locally build startup icons with macros, which enables you to start your favorite X clients just by clicking a window icon. Using the Window System terminal in a familiar PC environment is so easy that you can do it almost without training. Users learn new applications quicker and with fewer commands to memorize.

Easy to administrate Xserver

When you want extend your system, you can add extra WinaXe terminals quickly and with low cost. If your computer system supports a remote disk, you can install a multi-user copy of WinaXe on such disk. You can make company-wide installation from a single PC. You can share WinaXe with multiple users and administrate the system centrally.
