Asked Questions We have purchased a license for 50 users. Do we have to install the license for every PC or is there some kind of multi-installation option available? Multi-user installation is intended for installing a single copy of WinaXe on a disk that will be shared by multiple users. WinaXe must be configured for each PC and USER it will be used. Corresponding files that define the local WinaXe configuration will be created (only for the "Custom" Upgrade Type) in a specified directory (Configuration Location). In this directory will be created 8 files: install.ini; xwinpro.ini; rgb.txt; xserver.out; xwphelp.gid; kmf files; deislog.1; xconfig. Multi-user installation is carried out as follows: 1. By running the Setup program, install WinaXe on a disk that will be used for storing the shared copy (WinaXe home directory). The next step must be done by every user of the shared copy. 2. Run the Setup program. In the installation dialogs, you must specify the WinaXe home directory of the shared copy, select "Custom" Upgrade Type and indicate the local directory where files defining a particular package configuration (install.ini, xwinpro.ini, rgb.txt, xserver.out, xwphelp.gid, kmf files, deislog.1 and xconfig) will be resident (Configuration Location). |
